We had a great day celebrating the ground breaking of the long awaited Homebush Bay Bridge that will connect the two communities of Rhodes and Wentworth Point. The bridge will cut the 8km journey between the two suburbs to just over 300m making the Rhodes transport links and shopping facilities far more accessible for the present and future residents of Wentworth Point. The Billbergia Group is proud to be the main contributor investing 60% to this privately funded project. The ground breaking of the bridge marks a momentous day for the Rhodes and Wentworth Point communities who are expected to be connected by the Homebush Bay Bridge as soon as early 2016.
