FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

January 8, 2016

Photography enthusiasts are invited to demonstrate; ‘what does home mean to you’.

This initiative by the Rhodes, Wentworth Point and Sydney Olympic Park Community Service (RWS) encourages residents from the three localities to tell a story through pictures.

Joyce Xu Public Officer of the News Service, said the organization initiated the competition to encourage community engagement.

‘We initiated this campaign to illustrate the strong ties that the local residents have with the community and to foster creativity and expression.’

The competition is running until the end of this month, with the winner receiving a $250 voucher to spend at a range of local restaurants and cafes.

Photos can be in black and white or colour and must not be edited.

The winner will be drawn by Angelo Tsirekas, the Mayor of the City of Canada Bay Council, during the 2016 Lunar Festival, 13th February.
