Billbergia and The Urban Taskforce recently held a twilight tour for its members at Billbergia’s Rhodes Central masterplanned development, specifically the Peake and Oasis buildings. The tour showcased the recently completed Stage 2, including over 1,700 new homes, and the Rhodes Recreation Centre, an $85 million investment by Billbergia. The recreation centre, which is expected to open later in 2025, will include childcare facilities and sports facilities for the community. Billbergia aims to create vibrant communities by providing amenities, infrastructure, and recreation areas.
The tour was well-attended, with 70 members braving a cold and wet evening to view the development. The event highlighted Billbergia’s commitment to quality and community building, as evidenced by the recreation centre and the focus on creating amenities for residents. It also highlighted the importance of partnering with local councils to deliver community- and transport-oriented developments.
Billbergia continues to play an active role in shaping Sydney’s future by delivering thoughtfully planned developments and contributing to the conversation around housing supply and planning reform. Through projects like Rhodes Central and ongoing engagement with industry bodies, Billbergia is doing its part to promote sustainable growth and address housing affordability across the city.
